Working with the cold storage contractor, Clarion Construction, Inc., Bosz Arch, Inc. provided the construction documents and engineering to create three new high-racked storage areas of refrigerated warehouse totaling 120,953 square feet for a beer distribution company, one of which is a box-in-a-box. The existing ambient temperature building was converted to a temperature-controlled distribution center. An infill development, a challenge arose to conceal thirteen large roof-top-mounted condensing units from view from four adjacent streets, one of which was an elevated overpass. The properly placed units satisfied the city's restrictive design parameters and did not impact the visual integrity of the building.
