Northgate González Market is a premier Southern California supermarket chain that caters to the Latino community. Founded in 1980 by the González family, they are a family owned and operated company with headquarters in Anaheim, California, and a chain of more than 40 high-volume stores located in Orange, Los Angeles, and San Diego counties. A new Riverside county store is scheduled to open in November 2019.

Working with the thermal contractor, Clarion Construction, Inc., Bosz Arch, Inc. developed the architectural plans for the 105,539 square feet of cold storage tenant improvement for the distribution center.

The distribution center in Anaheim services all of their stores. This facility features:

65,000 SF in 5 cooler rooms from +34°F to +55°F
25,000 SF in 2 freezers (-10°F & +28°F)
Approx. 16,000 SF in 2 cold docks (+34°F & +45°F) with 19 insulated dock doors
Metl-Span urethane core insulated wall panels with USDA Polar White finishes
Over-deck insulated roof system of TPO roofing over Dow Freezermate insulation; cooler insulation value R-42, freezer insulation value R-51.7
6" thick underfloor insulation and a Watts Radiant Heatway warming system with propylene glycol filled Onix flexible hoses at 48" on center in +28°F and -10°F freezers
